Pumpkin Spice Plush

It may not be fall just yet but a certain popular coffee house chain has already released their pumpkin spice beverages. ‘Tis the season my friends, the season for pumpkin spice!
I have to precursor my crochet pumpkin spice pattern: I’m not trying to say I liked it first, but I liked it first. I took claim to pumpkin spice long before it was trendy. As an October baby, pumpkin has been one of my top three flavors for as long as I can remember. I decided it would be strange to crochet my other favorites (peanut butter and maple syrup) so here we are with pumpkin spice.
I’ll be honest, I’m not entirely sure if this is a latte or a frappuccino but maybe that’s the beauty of it, it can be whatever you want it to be! And even if pumpkin spice isn’t your cup of tea (or coffee), this patten can easily be altered to be whatever YOUR favorite beverage is. Chocolate, strawberry, green tea, whatever you like, just change the main color. You can even add beads or stitches to resemble sprinkles or flick on some pigment to represent a sprinkling of cocoa or cinnamon. I’m telling you, the possibilities are as limitless as your imagination.

When making this crochet pumpkin spice pattern keep in mind that you will be working in the round. I highly recommend using a stitch marker at the beginning of each round so you don’t lose track with your counting (it’s easier than you’d think!)

You will need to know how to work in the 3rd loop, creating the knit stitch. Check in out in my video:

There are three pieces to this pattern: the logo, the mug, and the whipped topping. Each component is made separately and sewn together at the end.
