Pumpkin Keychain

Okay, it is officially September (tomorrow) and while autumn doesn’t actually begin for 22 more days I’m calling it. Pumpkin spice came out this week, it’s time!

There is truly nothing I love more than autumn. The smells leaves, the smells, the decorations, the fashion, everything about it is simply wonderful! Of course I am an October baby so I may be a little bias.

I have to be honest, I am both excited and bitter about the whole pumpkin spice trend. In general I have always rebelled from anything trendy. It’s silly, I know, if I like something I like it and it shouldn’t matter whether it’s trendy or not but something about me just cringes at the trendy. And yet, here I am, obsessed with pumpkins and pumpkin spice but not because it’s trendy. I have been obsessed with pumpkin for quite literally as long as I can remember. Pumpkin rolls, pumpkin whoopie pies, pumpkin coffee, pumpkin lattes, pumpkin muffins. Seriously, if it’s pumpkin I’ll eat it. Even pumpkin ravioli or pinwheels. Sweet, savory, I really don’t care, I’ll eat it. If you are what you eat then I am most certainly a pumpkin! I’m surprised I haven’t turned orange yet! Because of this wonderful pumpkin obsession I am quite ready to jump into autumn these week with this adorable little pumpkin amigurumi crochet pattern.
